Std Bank donates 400k to Project Never Walk Alone.
Standard Bank handed over a cheque of N$400,000 to Project Never Walk Alone this morning.
The handover was done by Mercia Geises, Chief Executive of Standard Bank who recalled her barefooted journey while schooling in the Kunene region. Standard Bank is impressed with the projects progress and is therefore pleased to commit an amount of N$400,000 which will contribute 1275 pairs of shoes. These shoes will be handed over in Feb in the Kunene region.
Project Never Walk Alone has already handed over 6200 pairs in the last year and targets to hand over 10,000 pairs this year. The project has so far raised an amount of N$3.1 million from sponsorships only…
